I'd like to see some improvements in synth mode,it would be great if we could use samples and then adjust it and play with it the way we want it like in reason/cubase.
Being able to preview patches before load them.
I'd like to see key-group add on, more effects a q-link improved.
Assign samples by alphabetical order instead of going through 100 of samples. For example if you assign sample 1 to pad #1 sample 2 should tap a way not to go though them all again. We should be able to access the ram via usb.
1. Samples are chopped/edited first and then you trun them into a patched phrase. Why do you need to reslice a patched phrase?
2. What additional benefits do you receive by placing samples in a synth program? I wasn't aware you can add your own samples into Reason's Subtractor synth.
3. I don't think (could be wrong though) that the MPC 5K was built with this in mind. It was built for data transfer from hard drives and may not be possible.
1 well i know that, when you have a long sample it would be better to chop it after you patched phrase.but no big deal.
2 On synth mode would be helpful if could browser patches not samples my bad, like when you looking for right bass you gotta load it takes a lot of time to find the one that goes with beat in progress by the time you find the right one you don't feel making beat anymore.
i also want to add some features from jj os i like
real time timestretch/pitch shift
program for musical instruments
global program edit
grid edit midi/qlink/drum-6 pad mode/16pad mode and grid edit loop mode
bit convert
Program pad mode(TRIM)
16/24/32bit(not on jjos but would be good to have)
