if i had 8 wires coming out of my mpc where would they go?

could somebody be a little more clear about this as im looking to purchase also,,i kinda know what the deal is with it but im not understanding the concept of what its uses are??

one of the uses is to multitrack. to a mixer and into your daw for better editing.

ok real basic. You have your main outputs (L/R out).... that gives you a stereo out to two tracks in whether it be an interface, mixer or whatever. So naturally more outs means more options. You can route kick to 1, snare to 2, hat to 3, crash to 4, sample to 5&6, bass to 7 and a clap to 8. Now if you have a mixer with 8 channels then you can send those outs to the mixer and gain additional control over your sounds. Also if you are working a DAW you can get yourself an interace (Digi 003 in my case) and go 8 channels out of the MPC right into your software. So you will now have your track broken down into 8 channels on one pass.

They're quite useful if you have a soundcard with 8 or more inputs. You can record a whole beat in one pass but get individual sounds rather than recording the sounds one at a time with the L/R outs

You're modding your display and whatnot, but have no clue what the 8 outs are for? That's funny.
