if i had 8 wires coming out of my mpc where would they go?

poundaproblem wrote:ok real basic. You have your main outputs (L/R out).... that gives you a stereo out to two tracks in whether it be an interface, mixer or whatever. So naturally more outs means more options. You can route kick to 1, snare to 2, hat to 3, crash to 4, sample to 5&6, bass to 7 and a clap to 8. Now if you have a mixer with 8 channels then you can send those outs to the mixer and gain additional control over your sounds. Also if you are working a DAW you can get yourself an interace (Digi 003 in my case) and go 8 channels out of the MPC right into your software. So you will now have your track broken down into 8 channels on one pass.
